Krimskrams fürs Auto / Bits and pieces for the car

 Ich habe ein neues, in vielerlei Hinsicht ziemlich unnötiges kleines Ding, das ich aber trotzdem unbedingt besitzen muss, an der Spitze meiner Wunschliste:
Der Portal Weighted Companion Cube "Fuzzy Dice" für 29.95$, was ungefähr 24€ sind.
Das ist viel Geld, aber jedem eingefleischten Portal-Fan (dessen bester Freund ja offensichtlich der gewichtete Begleiterkubus ist) jeden Cent wert.
Soweit ich weiß sind sie nur bei ThinkGeek und im offiziellen Valve Online Store erhältlich, wo sie traurigerweise (aber wenig überraschend) ausverkauft sind.
Ich hab mich schon dafür angemeldet eine E-Mail zu erhalten, wenn sie den Bestand bei ThinkGeek wieder auffüllen (was der Produktseite zufolge am 6. September sein soll).

I have a new really cute, in many ways pretty much unnecessary little thingy, which I nevertheless still have to own by all means, on top of my wishlist:
The Portal Weighted Companion Cube "Fuzzy Dice" for 29.95$ which are approximately 24€. It's a lot of money, but worth every cent for every die-hard Portal fan (whose best friend obviously is the weighted companion cube).
As far as I know they're only avaible at ThinkGeek and at the official Valve Online Store, where they are sadly (but unsurprisingly) sold out.
I've already signed up for receiving an e-mail when they restock at ThinkGeek (which according to the product page should be on the 6th of September).

Seit gar nicht so langer Zeit lese ich Nessy's Blog Fuel & Fashion jetzt erst, und schon konnte ich bei einem weiteren Besuch einen Post über den einjährigen Bloggeburtstag finden! :D
Im Rahmen dieses Gerbutstages wird ein Gewinnspiel veranstaltet, bei dem ich unheimlich gerne gewinnen würde, insbesondere wegen des Zoeva Bambus-Pinselsets, denn ich spiele schon seit sehr langer zeit mit dem Gedanken, es mir zuzulegen. Nun werde ich wohl noch das Ende des Gewinnspiels abwarten und auf mein Glück hoffen :)

Parndorf Late Night Shopping

Am 19. August war ich mit meiner allerliebsten Mama beim Late Night Shopping im Designer Outlet Parndorf. Die Shops hatten alle bis 11 in der Nacht geöffnet!
Wegen der gewaltigen, wie wild herumdrängenden Menschenmassen gab ich es aber auf, mich bei Mango und Vero Moda wegen ein bis zwei hübschen Teilen für eine halbe Ewigkeit bei der Kasse anzustellen und so wurden es nur ein Gesichtsreinigungsgel beim Body Shop um 5€ und neue Essstäbchen um 3€.

On August 19th I've been to the Late Night Shopping at the Designer Outlet Parndorf with my lovely mom. The Shops were open till 11pm!
Due to the enormous crowds that were ferociously pushing aroung, I gave up on queueing at Mango and Vero Moda for one to two pretty pieces, so I ended up just buying a facial cleansing gel at The Body Shop for 5€ and new chopsticks for 3€.

Ich bin übrigens schon gespannt, wie viele orangene Koffer ich sehen werde, wenn ich das nächste Mal am Flughafen bin. Ungefähr jeder zweite konnte beim Angebot von 36€ nicht widerstehen.

I'm really  curious by the way how many orange suitcases I'll see the next time I'm at the airport, seeing as about every second person couldn't resist the offering of 36€.

Für mich ist die Entscheidung wirklich unheimlich schwer, besonders zwischen Set 1 und 2, letztendlich gefällt mir Set 1 (wie wohl den meisten Leuten) am allerbesten.

For me the decision is really unbelievably hard to make, especially between Set 1 and 2, ultimately I like set 1 the very best (like most people probably do).

Federohrringe / Feather Earrings

Federohrringe sind so ziemlich die einzigen Ohrringe, die ich an mir mag, alle anderen scheinen irgendwie nicht so recht zu mir zu passen.
Ich liebe einfach dieses gewisse Etwas, das sie einem Outfit verleihen können, ohne einen dabei gleich übertrieben aufgetakelt wirken zu lassen.
Ich mache mir jedoch ein wenig Sorgen darüber, wo die Federn für diese Schmuckstücke herkommen, deshalb hab ich versucht etwas dazu auf Google zu finden - doch auch zahlreiche Suchen lieferten mir kein Ergebnis. Also frage ich mal euch: Wisst ihr von welchen Vögeln die Federn für Federohrringe kommen und unter welchen Umständen sie gewonnen werden?

Feather earrings are about the only earrings that I like on me, all of the the other ones don't seem to fit me that well.
I just love this certain something they can add to an outfit without letting one seem overly tarted up.
Still, I'm a bit worried about where the feathers for those pieces of jewelry come from, which is why I have tried to look it up on Google - but even numerous searches didn't bring any clarity to my question.
So now I'm asking you: Do you happen to know what birds the feathers for feather earrings come from and under which circumstances they are being obtained?

I later paired it with a dark brown faux-leather satchel bag (Topshop), a leather bracelet (Vero Moda) and a brass ring with a blue-green plastic stone (Pimkie). The color of the bag is a little off in the picture, it can be better seen in the picture with my hand.

The whole outfit was inspired by Aria from the TV-series Pretty Little liars. I just love her style, which consists mostly of darker clothes and sets her apart from everyone else.

Kasabian-Gig

The Kasabian-gig at the Arena in Vienna yesterday was freakishly awesome. The summerly temperatures allowed the event to take place on the open-air stage, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable: great acoustics, comfortable temperatures and enough space, so there was no pushing and shoving.

But even if it had been on the inside, Kasabian would have rocked the audience just as great as they did at their gig yesterday.
